Northern Rivers CMA current funding opportunities
Are you interested in tendering for contracts to deliver Northern Rivers CMA Projects ?
Each year, the Northern Rivers CMA works with partners throughout the region to deliver projects that contribute to the targets in the Northern Rivers Catchment Action Plan. These projects are mostly funded by the New South Wales and Australian Governments and are delivered by contract arrangement. The majority of contracts are issued in the beginning of the financial year, however, contracts for other projects may be offered from time to time.
Current opportunities to deliver projects for the Northern Rivers CMA are generally advertised in the public notice section of regional newspapers and online on the Northern Rivers CMA website on the Funding - How to Apply page.
Are you interested in other funding opportunities for individuals and community groups ?
The Northern Rivers CMA also run incentive (grant) programs, designed to provide financial support for individual landholders and groups wishing to undertake NRM projects. These programs have clearly defined objecties and set selection criteria and to be eligible to apply projects must demonstrate that they fit within these specifications. Such programs are very popular and are often oversubscribed. If you miss out or if your project idea does not fit within current Northern Rivers CMA project opportunities, our team of Catchment Officers and Community Support Officers may still be able to help you with advice and infomation on other possible sources of funding.
Do you want to monitor future funding opportunities ?
The Northern Rivers CMA also distributes a monthly electronic newsletter called e-News, that lists current funding opportunities provided by the Northern Rivers CMA and other funding providers. By subscribing to e-News, you can keep up to date with current and upcoming funding opportunities.
